American Barcode and RFID Inc. collects over 3,400 bottles of water.

Phoenix, Arizona, July 14, 2014 – AB&R (American Barcode and RFID), a local Phoenix-based provider of proven supply chain solutions, announced the delivery of 3,468 bottles of water for the Salvation Army’s Hydrate Arizona Water Drive Program. The program provides water for thousands of individuals in need across the state during the summer months to reduce heat-related illnesses, dehydration, and death due to lack of water.

“We realize the importance of the Salvation Army’s efforts to provide water to those in need throughout Arizona,” said Mike Stryzcek, Chief Executive Officer. “AB&R has been a part of the water drive for several years and takes pride in giving back to the community.”

AB&R’s donation of over 3,400 bottles surpassed their initial goal of collection set at 2,500 bottles, which was an increase based on last year’s donation. This year’s donation was also accompanied by additional funds contributed by the AB&R employees.
