Technical Business Requirements and Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Business Analyst/Quality Analyst for our software development team. Looking for a candidate with strong skills and experience in Customer customer needs assessment, requirements definition, documentation, and skills in user-story development. Our ideal candidate is also a detail-oriented quality assurance tester, documenter, and team player that can easily capture capable of capturing user-stories and then understand how to test testing software from to those expectations. Must be experienced in capturing conducting requirements discovery through in-person and remote from customer assessment conversations, both in-person and or remotely. The position requires a broad background in software requirements background and someone who can easily and competently translate translating requirements into QA Test plans and scripts, – and collaboratively supporting testing from the requirements. The position will entail working in a fast-paced supply chain environment with engineers, managers, and other stakeholders who are all responsible for enhancing our existing suite of software products and services, as well as the nd development developing and implementation implementing of new software and services for our customers. We prefer Jira experience, working knowledge of Project Management methods, and some experience with testing to requirements.

 

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience conducting analysis of business and user needs analysis, documentation of requirements, and translation into user stories and use cases for coordination with developers to deliver tested solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience creating relevant documentation, including but not limited to, user stories, use cases, wireframes, screen mockups, process flow documents, user support, and data flow diagrams.
  • 1+ years of experience translating needs, requirements, specifications into Jira Task/Bug.
  • Experience developing Test Plan coverage that utilizes requirements and users’ stories to ensure complete QA Testing coverage.
  • Interfacing with stakeholders for feedback, to ensure the system’s functional and user design of the systems before and during development.
  • Coordinating with Application Development team members, vendors, and Project Managers, as appropriate, to review the proposed solution and /design to ensure that the requirements are met, both for design and for testing.
  • Develop and implement process flowcharts for IT developers to follow.
  • Review solutions to ensure they have addressed usability and user experience design.
  • Creates analysis on customer or business -specific questions and then communicates the result in clear, easy -to -understand conversational and written format.
  • Participates in various business lead requirement discussions and can capably act as a Program Coordinator on a smaller level of efforts.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Associate’s, or equivalent work experience

 

Bonus Points

  • Jira Project use, Jira reporting a ++
  • Business Analyst certification is a plus or special training/certifications in Technical Writing
  • Experience with Supply Chain is a ++
