SUMMARY

This person has some experience being customer facing and light technical skills. Is open-minded person, eager to learn new skills quickly, and is a good listener. Organized, professional, works well under pressure, and is a team player. Will drive hard to get things done, self-starter with strong competitive drive, and a problem solver.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

include the following:

  • Provide internal and external Customer Service experience.
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Prefer some basic IT troubleshooting skills.
  • Create and manage work orders for internal and vendor repairs.
  • Create, record, respond, escalate and close Technical Support Cases.
  • Complete new order for sales, parts, and provide updates as required.
  • Manage and complete Hot Spares order fulfillment.
  • Manage all incoming service items matching to service and staging service work.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Document and consistently improve service activities.
  • Provide coverage for other roles within the department other duties may be assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree from two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general maintenance manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to bench level and or move them from our shipping receiving area to the service area and or from customer location to the service vehicle and back. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
