Regional Sales Account Manager

Actively promotes AB&R’s (American Barcode and RFID) solution offerings to customers and grow business within a given territory.



  • Knowledgeable in a customer-centric, consultative selling approach.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with corporate level information technology, operations, manufacturing, and production personnel as well as those in purchasing.
  • Tenaciously uncovers system integration opportunities within the supply chain, which we define as manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and transportation & logistics industries, that can legitimately be included in the early stages of a sales pipeline.
  • Close new business and continued buying to reach or exceed all sales/quota goals.
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with strategic manufactures territory representatives, sharing pipeline and purchase activities, and coordinating customer visits when appropriate.
  • Document all selling activities in the NetSuite ERP, including contacts, quotes and opportunities, and accurate forecasts.
  • Publish an accurate meeting calendar utilizing Outlook.
  • Prepares custom proposals for total solutions that improve the customers identified problems, issues or needs including estimated delivery and installation schedules.
  • Develops and delivers effective presentations on AB&R’s core solution offerings as well any specialized core components.
  • Coordinates customer training, pre/post-sales services when applicable.
  • Investigates and remains accountable for resolving customer problems and technical issues.
  • Travels extensively throughout the assigned sales territory to call on other prospective customers to promote AB&R’s AIDC/RFID solutions.
  • Submits expense reports associated with travel in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a gossip free workplace.

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; OR three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.



Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



This position is in Phoenix at our Headquarters and employees are required to work at the office.
