Job Description
We are looking for a technically strong and business savvy IT Business Systems Manager for our Enterprise NetSuite system and data integrations. In addition to system management, we are looking for someone with a deep understanding and expertise with NetSuite data model/configuration, iPaaS integrations (Boomi/Celigo), and analytics/reporting. The role must also have broad knowledge of accounting, workflow, and transaction flows including Lead-to-Order, Order Management, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Reporting. The IT Business System Manager must be proficient in designing/developing NetSuite custom records, forms, segments, fields, workflow, Saved Search, Saved Reports, permissions/roles, and CSV import. We are looking for this person to have a basic understanding of the NetSuite module for Inventory and support integrations with ecommerce/payment systems. This is a dual role position of both an IT Technical/Data Manager and NetSuite Business System Manager.
IT System Administration/Management
- Maintain and manage – administrator for the NetSuite application, system controls, and proper system access for all roles
- Manage system changes – configure, test and deploy system changes according to business requirements
- Proactively make – Production optimizations, performance tuning, and follow-on development efforts
- Manage, monitor, extend – NetSuite integration with internal and external systems, through Boomi, Data Black box, Portals, and ecommerce
- Project manage – Plan, review, and manage change configurations, customizations, and 3rd party integration requests involving NetSuite, Boomi, or data connections
- Technically develop, test, and deploy application extensions using system API and 3rd party tools or integrations – such as ecommerce.
- Manage and maintain security, access controls, data classifications, and role-based access system controls. Also ensure PCI, SANS, and other security system controls
- Configure and Implement NetSuite modules and releases, from design through UAT and go-live. Test new releases (2x year) prior to them going live for account
- Lead data migration, data structuring and cleanup work efforts
- Partner with internal teams to develop best in class processes for usability, functionality, and adoption
- Document existing and new customizations, changes, and workflows
- Project Coordinate internal and 3rd party developments / implementations
Business System Optimization
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize data in NetSuite.
- Mentor users on reporting and manage standard reports with system changes.
- Train users and educate them in best use of NetSuite.
- Keep informed on new NetSuite features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Optimize NetSuite configuration/reporting/functionality to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with users to understand their business processes and support their optimized use of NetSuite.
- Develop and modify NetSuite Reporting, Saved Searches, KPIs and dashboards based on business needs.
- Manage business process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades.
- Collaborate with business to fully document existing and new customizations and workflows.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, or Finance. Master’s degree in one of these areas a plus
- 3+ years of related work experience with at least 2 years of significant technical and functional experience in NetSuite
- Implementation experience with at least 1 large scale NetSuite implementation (setup, configuration and, customization) and multiple years of annual release support
- Expertise in Module configurations within NetSuite OneWorld ERP system – including: Financials/Consolidation process, order to cash, and ecommerce integration
- Experience Project Managing functional requirements of an implementation and engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to identify needs and to scope required enhancements for NetSuite. Work with 3rd party integrators to complete development, test, and production deployment acceptance
- Operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, including accounting, inventory, quote to cash, CRM/Lead Management, and operations
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization.
