Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Enter Sales Orders into ERP system
  • Handle challenges, provide appropriate solutions and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Assess customer’s needs and recommend potential products or services
  • Full knowledge of the AB&R “My Account” functionality to help customers better self-serve their needs for product ordering and services
  • Enter sales leads into the Company Relationship Management (CRM) system, assign those leads to the respective sales teams, and manage the feedback to our partner portals on the status of those leads
  • Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for products that are being returned to AB&R or our partners


Language Skills

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



  • Proven Customer Support experience
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management systems and practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Desire to move into a Regional Account Manager (RAM) position
